Dogol Talks About Winter

Winter is coming.

For people like me — who feels cold and (almost) always wear a jacket or a sweater, even in Jakarta (tropical weather) — winter can be quite a challenge.

I don’t think it is officialy winter yet. But I can feel it just around the corner.

The noon is cold, the night is colder and early morning is the worst.

The breeze is freezing and the water is electroshockingly cold.

.

So, winter is coming. It surely will.

My first winter.

Yup, my very first winter. Hopefuly would be my first snow too. Perhaps my first ski trip? Wow, there is a lot of ‘my-first’ here, and these are the things I like the most about moving to Japan. :-).

Thus, from this point of view, I would rather see winter as an adventure rather than an obstacle. Can’t wait to meet you, Winter!

They said that the coldest would be around January. Okay, that means I still have about a month to pile up some fat to heat my body in January. :D.
